Founded by Lucy Hodson, Happen was born out of the roots of teamwork, collaboration, critical support and embracing the adventure of finding out ‘What happens next?’.

With more than 20 years’ experience in PR & communications, for the past 16, Lucy has worked on major campaigns within the arts and culture sector, leading the communications of one of the UK’s largest national museums services. Working with Terracotta Warriors and Beatles, footballers and fine artists, Lucy has led high-profile communications campaigns across a vast array of subjects and issues.

Lucy’s agency experience prior to this cemented her strategic thinking, curious nature and ability to devise campaigns and offer a critical viewpoint to get the best out of a brand. Working for clients across sports, charity, healthcare and leisure sectors secured Lucy’s adaptability to provide a proactive, personable, adaptable and approachable style to her work.

This style is reflected at the core of Happen – creating communications solutions from a fresh perspective, elevating messages, profiling people, places and their stories, and tackling complex issues to develop strategies and campaigns which achieve memorable goals and results.
